| Game Notes: The Popes pushed across 2 runs without benefit of a hit in the top of the 9th, and A.J. Seagraves, in relief of starter Kevin Robinson, made it stand up as Pius XI defeated Catholic Memorial 4-3 in 9 innings. Robinson, the starter and winner, allowed just 1 earned run on 3 hits in 8 innings of work, while whiffing 10, and pitching out of jams caused by a less than stellar defense. Andy Brzakala led the offense with a HR and single. Mark Graffenauer drove in two on a base hit and a bases loaded walk in the decisive 9th.
