Notes:
It was a very tough day at the office for the Jets. Down four key players the Jets put forth a very brave effort, but it was clear from the start that it would be a long day. The Penguins are a strong team from top to bottom and they came hard at the Jets all game. Great goaltending was the theme of this game, with Aiden, Lucas, Gavin, and Marshall really standing out. Marshall had the save of the year when he made like vintage Martin Brodeur and kicked out one particularly hard shot. Aidens sister Savannah helped the Jets out by suiting up for the game, and she scored a really nice goal in he third period to show that the Jets would not give up. Bodin played a really strong game today using his speed to get clear for a few pretty goals, and Ajay and Rhett also worked hard to try and stop the penguin attack. Good job guys way to hang in there today. |
