WP: McAuley (2-0) The JAYS extended their winning streak to seven games as they beat Cranbrook 8-4. The JAYS offense was led by Kellen Jones, who went three for four with a double. Also, Layne Stopanski, Luke Stone, and Joey Underwood each contributed two RBI's a piece. On the mound, Connor Jones battled through 4 2/3 innings collecting four strikeouts while walking four. However, the win was credited to Matt McAuley. McAuley pitched 2 1/3 innings of relief allowing only one hit. McAuley improves to 2-0 on the season. |
