Game Notes: The Thunder came into this matchup having won it's last two contests and wouldnt slow up. We jumped on North early scoring 4 runs in the first 2 innings and then 4 again in the 4th and 5th innings combined. Jake "McLovin" Bechstein had gave EV a strong start on the mound throwing 4 innings, striking out 4 and surrendering 3 runs while getting the win. The 5th and 6th were owned by Andy "Coo Coo" Glockner who threw 2 solid innings in relief to get the hold and Loren "Lego Land" Muraca pitched a scoreless 7th and got the save. The bats stayed alive as the team scored 8 runs on 12 hits. Leading the way offensively for the Thunder was Ryan "Party Planner" Heisler (3-4 2 RBI), Mitchell "Texas Ranger Cerrato (3-4 RBI), Kyle "Barrel O Monkeys" Rush (2-3 BB and RBI), and Muraca (1-4 HR and 2 RBI). The defense will look to bounce back from their 3 error effort vs Apple Valley Wednesday, June 20th. Nothin but a bump in the road. Great win!
