| Game Notes: The Popes bats came alive during an 8 run 5th inning, as they beat Hartland Arrowhead going away, 11-1. Starter and winner Jim Foy, battled back after a shaky first, to shut down the Warhawks on 3 hits in 5 innings, striking out 6 and allowing just the one run. A.J. Seagraves came on in relief to record the final 6 outs. Kevin Robinson and Ryan Pogodzinkski checked in with 3 hits apiece. Robinson scored 3 times from the lead-off spot, and sophomore catcher Kevin Doerr knocked in 3, with Greg Grocholski scoring 2 and driving in a pair to lead the offense. | ||||||||||
