Parker smothered Beresford's three biggest threats. Payton Jensen, Aaron Licht and Cody Bussell locked down the Watchdog's two 5'11 centers, while Zach O'Keefe and the entire defense kept track of Oliver Doeden, the Watchdog's versatile point guard. Their three leading scorers were held scoreless in the game. The defensive effort was the Pheasant's best against a formidable opponent as this was a highly anticipated match-up between two good teams.
