| Game Notes: The Waukesha Firebirds(Black) lost 11-1 to the #1 Seed Rockford Cyclones. The Firebirds scored first when Mitch Ducett drew a walk and Storm Muehl moved him to second on a ground ball to second and then Alex Lawrence hit a single to pick up the lone RBI for the Firebirds. The Cyclones responded right back in the first inning with a homerun to tie the game at 1-1. But the Firebird defense failed them from here on out and the Cyclones despite a tough effort of pitching by TY Neuscaefer and Samuel Vissers just proved to much on this day for the Firebirds. | ||||||||||
