Game Notes: Renegades close out pool play beating Rockdale 24-6, getting the B Bracket #1 Seed going into elimination play. The Renegades banged out 22 hits and took advantage of Rockdale's 7 errors in the victory. On the mound, the unrelated Smith brothers combined in frigid conditions for the win. Patrick notched 4 Ks in two innings, allowing only 2 earned runs on 3 hits, while Austin S went the final two innings with 1 earned run on 3 hits. We don't have enough room to type all the hitting highlights - forgive me if I miss something! Clint had four hits (2 2B and 5 RBI) to lead the team, while Austin S had three hits (also with 2 2Bs and 3 RBI). Patrick had 2 hits, 3 runs and 3 RBI, and Nick had two hits, 4 runs, and 3 RBI. Parker busted out with 2 hits and 3 runs scored, and Austin L also had 2 hits and three runs, with Michael adding two hits (2B included). Brian had two hits and a sac fly with 3 RBI, and Drew (2B), Lucas and Ryan also had hits. Steven hit the ball hard in every at-bat, and added an RBI to the total.
