| Game Notes: The Waukesha Firebirds opened up Tournament pool play on sat. with a 4-2 WIN over the Brookfield Bulldogs. The Firebirds used aggressive base running and some key hits and outstanding pitching to come out with the win. Brandon Berghoefer and Mitch Ducett combined to hold the Bulldogs to 2 runs and only 6 hits. Also some key plays by Sean Staral at second base and Alex Lawrence with a Great catch in left field helped stop rallies by the Bulldogs.Brandon Berghoefer also drove in the lead run in the 4th inning and Tyler Coffey in the 5th inning drew a walk then stole second and third and home to give the Firebirds the added insurance run to to beat the Bulldogs.
