Game Notes: The Waukesha Firebirds U12 Black Team came out on Sunday with the goal to be 3-0 in Div.1 pool play in the Firebird Fathers Day Tourn. and the Firebirds did just that with a 7-1, (0) win over the Richfield Cobras. The Firebird fans know why I have a 0 next to the 1 in the score. But the real story of this game was the pitching of Samuel Vissers. Samuel had a NO-HIT- PERFECT GAME going into the 5th inning and chose to put his team first instead of his individual stats. As head Coach I gave Samuel the option of finishing out this Great game or turn it over to Sean Staral to finish so I could Start Samuel in the Championship game. Samuel chose to look at the big picture and be a TEAM player and do his best to help the Firebirds try to be Champs and he told me to let Sean finish and he would be ready for the Championship. Sean Staral came in and SHUT the Cobras out with only giving up 2 hits. Darin Howell scorched 2 hits and scored 2 runs and had 1 RBI to lead the Firebird offense. This game made the Firebirds 3-0 in Div.1 and moved them into the Championship Game!!!!!!!
