Game Notes: The Vikings kicked off the season with a slow start against Argyle, going "oh-for-two" until the third inning, when J. Melvin started things off with a single to right center. He would later cross home to score as would D. Conwell and N. Gilbertson, both of whom made it on base with in-field singles. By the end of the 3rd inning, Pecatonica was ahead by two, and they would not relinquish the lead again, although Argyle would close to withing one run in both the 5th and 6th innings. The Vikings put the game away in the 7th after J. Hendrickson made it to first base on an error and then proceded to steal second base, third base, and home. G. Daley, who reached first base on a fielder's choice would score the final run on a double to right field, hit by N. Loyd.
