Game Notes: Joe Copas gets things going for the Blue Jays with a 2 run double smashed to the left-center wall. Blue Jays stayed in it as it was a pitching dual but in the 9th inning, Plato had their chance with the bases loaded and 2 hitters watched pitches go by with a strike out to end the top of the 9th. The Redbirds were able to capitalize with a rally of hitting and a late inning throwing error by Beau Lepel to score the winning run and knock Plato out of the state tourney. Hedtke Started the game and had 10 K's with Hoernemann and Tschida coming in for relief but couldn't shut the door to advance to Labor Day weekend.
