Game Notes: In today's Bulldog Bash action, the Renegades topped the Central Force 14-4 in a come from behind victory. After a challenging first inning, Steven got the win by going 3 strong innings with 5 strikeouts. Austin L closed out the game, pitching a scoreless fourth inning. Again, the Renegade defense was solid, with all the routine plays made and only one inconsequential error. To end the fourth, the bases were loaded with Force, yet Austin L induced a comebacker that he tossed to Lucas for the force out at home, which Lucas then fired to Ryan at first to complete the 1-2-3 double play. The Renegades banged out 10 hits (all singles) and added 11 stolen bases for the game. Lucas had three hits and 3 SBs, while solo singles were tallied by Nick, Austin L., Clint, Michael, Ryan, Drew, and Patrick. Nick, Patrick and Austin L all had 2 stolen bases, and Clint & Ryan added solo swipes. Weather permitting, the Renegades move to the elimination round on Palm Sunday as the #1 seed in Pool A.
