Game Notes: The Waukesha Firebirds brought out the BIG STICKS in the 13-6 win over the Carmel Cubs from N.Y. Darin Howell lead the charge with 2 HOME RUN Blasts and scored 3 runs and Conor Sherman had 3 hits including a HOME RUN and 3 RBI'S. Brandon Berghoefer went 2 for 2 with a HOME RUN and 2 RBI'S. Mitch Ducett also CRUSHED a HOME RUN and Sean Staral had 2 hits and and gave a strong pitching performance and Ty Neuschaefer came in to throw 3 1/2 strong innings of 1 hit ball to close out the Cubs. This gave the Firebirds a 4-3 pool play record and made them the 31st seed. This is the highest a U-12 Firebird Team has ever finished pool play since going to Cooperstown!!!!! OUTSTANDING!!!!!
