Notes:
The Thunder (1-1, 0-1) dropped its league opener against Lakeville North, 5-1. Righthander Joe Radermacher (0-1) kept the club in the game with a quality start in his season debut, going five innings and yielding just two unearned runs. He scattered seven hits, struck out three and walked one. Casey Jacobson came on in the sixth and pitched two innings of relief with three punch-outs. The Thunder offense never got untracked, managing just four hits and leaving ten men on base. Rookie Corey Meyer, Ben Wagner (RS), Mitch "Jeter" Haug (BB) and James Lenz accounted for the club's four safeties. Wagner and Dan Coyle each reached twice on walks; Adam Edwinson and John "Rain Delay" Grotkin also reached via base on balls.
