Game Notes: Good Practice Game...We played really well today. We hit the ball awesome! Our top 5 batters were 3 for 3 each. Jonah had a big 3 run homerun in the first inning and had 2 doubles! Alex hit the ball hard all 3 times up. They both hit the ball hard too. Mitch got robbed on a nice play in the outfield. Will had a big hit to knock in a run. The following players were perfect at the plate--Branan, Brandon, Dawson, Jonah, and Jalen. There were each 3 for 3. Alex was 2 for 3. Mitch and Will had big hits to start and keep rallies going.
Defensively, we made some nice plays in the field and got a few people out at first. Brandon had a nice play at second base to throw a runner out in the first inning. Alex made 2 good plays at pitcher. Jonah stopped everything hit to him and he and Branan hooked up on a nice 6-4 force. Brandon and Mitch did great at catcher and we almost had 2 outs at the plate. David played well in the field and got the ball in from the outfield quickly. Jalen and Anthony didn't have anything hit to him today, but was ready to make a play and was paying attention. Branan played a good 1st and 2B today. Dawson did a good job at first and caught a few balls to get some big outs.
