| Game Notes: North Myrtle Beach survived a close game against Loris Monday night winning 3-2. Dedrick Searcy pitched 6 strong innings for the Chiefs striking out 9 Loris hitters. Billy Ferguson came in to close the game, recording the save. 8th grader Will Hardwick delivered the big hit in the 6th inning to drive in 2 runs. Freshman Brandon Miller then hit a single to right field, moving Hardwick from 1st to 3rd base. Hardwick then scored on a wild pitch to put the Chiefs ahead. Searcy, Bill Seddinger, and Lawrence Long also delivered singles during the game. | ||||||||||
