Game Notes: The Thunder won its third in a row, beating Prior Lake 15-5 in five innnings at Memorial Park Wednesday night. It was the club's second straight win by ten-run rule and the third game in a row in which they have scored ten or more runs. Veteran Spencer Pratt (3-0) went all five innings. He yielded two earned runs on seven hits, walked one and struck out four. With the win, Pratt's career mark is now 9-1, making him the winningest pitcher in club history in terms of total wins and win percentage. The offense jumped on Laker pitching in the initial frame, tallying six runs. They would later repeat the feat in the fifth. Adam "Iceman" Shie (2RBI, 2B) and Sam "Wolfman" Foy (RBI,RS) had three-hit games, with Shie scoring a season-high four runs. Corey Meyer (2B,RBI,2RS) returned to the line-up and had two hits. Pratt helped his own cause with two hits and an RBI. Dan "Dee" Coyle (BB), Casey Jacobson (2B,RBI), Joel Bertelsen (RBI) and Peter "Z-Man" Zukanoff all scored two runs for the Thunder. The club has Thursday off before traveling west for the Minnetonka Tournament this weekend. The Thunder, now 6-2-1 in league play and 8-3-1 overall, will face West Division foe Richfield in Friday night's tourney opener. Eastview won an early season match-up between the two teams. Righthander Adam "Iceman" Shie gets the ball.
