| Game Notes: The Thunder (9-7-1, 5-4-1) beat Tonka to close the Firecracker Tourney with a win, 5-4. Righthander Matt Neutz went the route to earn the victory. After yielding three runs in the first, Neutz settled down to give up just one run over the final six frames. Jeremy "JJ" McKay continued his hot hitting with two hits (1B,2B) and a walk; Mitch Haug went 3-for-4 (31B); Adam Yahnke had two hits (21B); Brady Lindemann, Jake Kruegel, John Grotkin, Beau "Ichibeau" Jacobson, "Easy" Eddie Hagberg and Brad "B-Train" Landgrebe all had one hit apiece. | ||||||||||
