The Thunder scored a season-high 16 runs in beating Bloomington. Brad "B-Train" Landgrebe got the win, improving his record to 2-0. Ryan "Big Ticket" Stepan made his first relief appearance of the season, pitching two innings. Trailing 3-1 after the first inning, the Thunder put up 15 runs over the next four innings to put the game out of reach. "Easy" Eddie Hagberg had two hits and three RBI to lead the offense. Chad Eul and Stepan had three hits apiece, with Eul scoring three runs and Stepan twice. Landgrebe helped his own cause with three RBI, including a two-run single in the second inning. Josh "Future" Retka scored three runs and walked three times. Jared "J-Rod" Johnson reached three times, knocked in one, and scored three runs. Keegan Jindra drove in one and scored once, and Beau Jacobson added two runs scored with an RBI. The Thunder has now won three straight, improving their division record to 4-1. Righthander Alex Johnson takes the hill against Victoria on Tuesday.
