Notes:
Coming off a solid win vs Apple Valley, the Thunder were able to get wins on back to back nights. This time against Mankato. Andy "Coo Coo" Glockner battled not only the Mankato hitters but also the hot humid weather and was a warrior on the mound. He threw 6 and 2/3 innings giving up 3 runs on 8 hits and striking out 2 to get the win. Once again Chris "Lancelot" Ferber closed the door on Kato to get the save. Leading the way offensively for EV was Jake "McLovin" Bechstein (3-4 1 RBI) and four others recorded a hit apiece. Although we only recorded 7 total hits we were able to get 9 more guys on base either by walk, hit by pitch or error. The team put together quality at bats and for the most part executed each situation successfully. It was a solid effort. Looking to sweep the week with a win against Hopkins on Thursday.
