Game Notes: The boys were ready and geared up for this game, and we recorded the first shot on net this time! Ben would get that honor at the 4 minute mark. The Flames wouldn't get their first shot until the 9 minute mark. Unfortunately the Flames would open the scoring at the 18 minute mark. Despite us having several great chances, hitting a cross bar and a couple of key saves by the Flames keeper. In the second half we carried the play, and although the Flames would get three shots, Luke turned them all away. We had a couple of great chances, and hit another two cross bars. At the 20 minute mark, we changed our formation and went with 3 defenders and 5 midfielders with an offensive minded strategy...but we were unable to get the tying goal.
