Game Notes: Game 2 proved to be another entertaining matchup between South Division foes. The Blue Jays came out on top by a score of 5-2. After jumping out to an early lead again, the Jays never looked back in this one behind a strong pitching perfomance by Tony!

st Inning - Jays get out of the gates quickly with a hit batter and two walks but leave the bases loaded without doing any damage.

nd Inning - Slater leads off with a single, Nix sac bunt moves him to second, single by Schwirtz makes it 1st & 3rd, and Johnson comes up with the RBI single driving in Slater to make it 1-0 Jays.

rd Inning - Jays strike again. Ode leads off with a single. Engelmann beats out a double play at first, and two walks later, the bases are loaded for Slater who delivers a big RBI single to score Eric. Blue Jays up 2-0.

th Inning - Back-to-back doubles by Maynard and Ode plate another run for the Blue Jays. Plato up 3-0.

th Inning - Green Isle gets their first run of the game on back-to-back doubles to lead off the inning. Tony retires the next three batters to get out of the jam. Blue Jays still up 3-1.

th Inning - A lead-off double by Ode got things started. E followed up with a long single off the left field fence and got caught at second trying to stretch it into a double. Ode was held at third with one out. Lang then hit a single to plate Ode and give Plato the 4-1 lead.

th Inning - Schwirtz lead off the inning with a single. Johnson reached on a fielder's choice by beating out the double play and proceeded to steal second and third. Maynard drove Johnson in with the sac fly to center to score the insurance run and make it 5-1 Jays.

th Inning - Things get a bit interesting when Tony walks two consecutive batters with one out. The next batter hits a double to score one and leave runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out. Tony bears down to strike out the next batter and retires the last batter of the game on a popout. Jays win 5-2!

Sunday's rubber match in this series should be another exciting game betweeen the Blue Jays and the Irish!
