Notes:
Suns and SWCHA exchanged the lead several times on Friday, but the Suns ended up on top with a 6-4 win in seven innings over SWCHA.
The Suns took the lead in the fourth inning and held on for the victory. They scored on an RBI double by Zach Biermann off Seegers, plating Paul Kaufmann.
Collin Rusch racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Suns. He singled in the second and fourth innings.
Jonah Maas brought the heat against SWCHA during his outing. SWCHA managed just three hits off of Maas, who allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out five during his 4 2/3 innings of work.
The top of the second saw SWCHA take an early lead, 1-0. The SWCHA attack began with a single from Swanson. A stolen base then moved Swanson from first to second. Swanson then stole home.
It didn't take long for the Suns to answer as it scored two runs of its own in the second. The Suns scored on an RBI single by Collin Rusch and a wild pitch.
The Suns didn't give up the lead after the fourth inning. Additional runs came from three singles.
