East Suns Freshman fall 10-2 to Whitefish Bay despite Nate Farrington's effort.
Despite Nate Farrington's 2-3 performance at the plate on Tuesday, the East Suns Freshman took a 10-2 loss at the hands of Whitefish Bay at River Road.
#9 got the win for Whitefish Bay. He allowed one run over five innings. #9 struck out eight, walked one and gave up five hits.
Whitefish Bay was sparked by #16 and #10, who teamed up for four hits and four RBIs.
The Suns jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. The threat began with a single by Nick Rosenthal.
Whitefish Bay went up for good in the third, scoring two runs on a two-run error.
Whitefish Bay tacked on another four runs in the sixth. A error scored #10 to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by #16's single, bringing home #8.
After pushing across one run in the bottom of the sixth, East Suns Freshman faced a 10-2 deficit. It was too much to overcome.
