Welcome to the Oakland County Spartans New Home Page.

In 2009, we will embark on a quest to add respect to the sport of Semi-professional, Minor League Football. Whatever league we represent, they will have our full cooperation. We will abide by the rules and be a promising organization for our said league. Commitment to the Spartans is a full commitment. If and when you sign a contract, that contract will tell the club that you intend on playing in organized sports for the period of time stated on the contract.

All practices will be conducted in a professional and courteous manner. Our practice schedule will begin in November with off season practice location to be determined. At Oakland County Spartans we believe in unity so all players will play, travel and succeed as one. Shortly we will have our official website available. The Site address will be provided to all contracted players and coaching staff, as well as a personal email address for every player that achieves a spot on the 2009 roster. All coaches will be given an email address with mobile email access. This means that your address will be: your name @ ocspartans.com.

In August of this year you can join us at the christening of our ball club. We are currently seeking all coaches and players that are in the Oakland County Area. No offense to other counties but we want to field our team with players from the Oakland County area first then we can expand into other counties to look for talent. I have faith that all football players living in Oakland County can play at the Semi Pro level. So let's come together and make this happen.

The Oakland County Spartans are dedicated to bringing entertaining and quality football to Southern Oakland County, MI.  The men who play for The Spartans are mostly home-grown talent who are often overlooked because they do not follow traditional, collegiate pathways to get to the national and international football leagues. The Oakland County Spartans organization will make it possible for these intelligent and talented ball-players to "get their shot at the big leagues" by providing opportunities for our players to be noticed, while at the same time, making their education, and career goals a primary focus.

The Oakland County Spartans provide players with a professional opportunity while they complete degrees and / or begin their work careers. They continue to provide non-college bound players with a pathway toward paid-to-play professional football.
