The Red Birds beat Arlington on Wednesday night, 15-8, and will next play the Jordan Brewers on Saturday night at 6:00 PM at the Jordan Mini-met. It was a real slugfest for both teams, with Chanhassen collecting 15 hits and the A's getting 11. The difference seemed to be that the A's committed 5 errors, and the Red Birds committed none. |

The Chanhassen Red Birds opened the 2011 RVL with a home game against the Jordan Brewers. The Red Birds rallied from down 4-0 after the opening two innings and beat the Brewers 10-6 on the strength of two timely hits. Zach Swenson launched a 3 run Homer in the 4th inning and later in the frame, Tom Bergner lined a bases loaded double to right center that made the score 7-4. The Red Birds got three more in the 5th inning while Jordan could only get single runs in the 5th and 7th. Justin Thompson pitched a complete game to get the win against his former teammates. |

This game is Little League Recognition Game. All Little League players in uniform will get Free Addmission and a Free Bag of Popcorn. During pre-game ceremonies, the National Anthem will be sung by "JAM", a group of young music and dramatic performers from Westwood Community Church in Chanhassen.
