| Posted Mar 19/11 - "The Game" beats the Lady Warriors |
| After lossing to the Golden Eagles from East Davidson a week ago the lady warriors were not going to let this happen again. The first half started with the warriors moving the ball and controling the middle of the field but was only able to get off 5 shots against a strong eagle defense and outstanding goalie. Both teams entered the half with no goals scored. When the second half started the lady warriors turned up the heat and control the game. In the 62 sec. minute Maddy Myers took a shot in the box which the goalie appeared to have in hand but spilled it back in play and Myers finished with a goal. With alot of time left to play the golden eagles find their way to the warriors defensive half of the field on the left wing and found a free eagle on the right side of the field for a goal. The lady warriors continued to put pressure on the east davidson keeper but was unable to finish. After out shooting the golden eagles and controling the ball the lady warriors let "The Game" beat them this night. Great Effort |
