Tallahassee Lady Thunder Semi-Pro Basketball Team

The Tallahassee Lady Thunder had a repeat success story this past Saturday, May 21, 2011 when they took on the Newberry Lady Panthers of Newberry, SC (79-63). Your Tallahassee team began the game with a winning stance, maintained a lead throughout, and finished with victorious style! All of the hard work and efforts of the ladies, at the steering of Head Coach Adolph Hicks has been very beneficial thus far, as they begin the season with a (2-0) record. The fan participation and loyalty cannot go without us giving our greatest appreciation, as we push toward bringing a Women's Blue Chip Basketball League (WBCBL) championship title to Tallahassee!

Varisia Raffington 20pts, 5 rebs

We look forward to hosting our next game against the Mississippi Lady Storm of Biloxi MS.
The forecast for Saturday, May 28th may not call for rain or thunder storms, but it will be a stormy, thunderous, treacherous day in Rickards High Gymnasium for sure! So bring your rain gear, it's probably going to get a little nasty inside!
