St. Paul's volleyball team won the Battle of Old Shell Road tournament, but the Lady Saints had to get through three teams from Baldwin County near the end of the event to do it.

St. Paul's (27-12 and ranked No. 1 at the 5A level all season) swept through pool play and continued to roll. The Mobile-based squad upended Robertsdale 25-21, 25-13 in the quarterfinals, knocked off 3A No. 1-ranked Bayside Academy (33-14) 25-20, 25-19 in the semifinals and then took down Daphne (25-18) in the championship showdown 25-16, 18-25, 15-4.
