The Benbrook Stars are not your typical little league football organization we are a program the difference is our offensive linemen learn the base of the kick slide, skip pull and the team get the basic background of the playside and field side and the split field these terms are todays football college and high school teams use this terminolgy and the techniques that are needed to implement them into a system.

We have modified practice contact and individual attention in position groups in a challenging environment,specific techniques and fundamentals upon which to build a solid base and growth as a player,while having fun and developing work habits to be successful,what happens as young players move into the middle school ranks  players who do not have a solid base of the game no matter how much talent they may have the coaches don't have the time to teach technique and spend most of the practice developing plays,this is even more prevelvant at the high school level where if the kids technique is not up to the fast pace of the practice routine he can't have confidence to perform even though he may have more talent but without that base he is a mere mortal.

This is the state of todays game most youth offensive linemen can't perform a simple drive block which is needed to produce a solid runnning game sure you see the back break now and then but vs a good technique based team there will be no running lanes it's that simple,and this is what prep academy football is about the future of our kids who really wish to learn how to play the game and compete when they enter middle school introduction into the big boys game.
