The Raiders of Hart County were able to weather the snow and ice from earlier in the week, but were unable to weather the storm that Taylor County basketball brought. The Cardinals handled the Raiders in the blowout, leaving Munfordville with a 91-32 victory. The Cards valued the ball, dishing out 20 assists versus 5 turnovers and grabbing 38 total rebounds. The win was a total team effort, as 5 of the Cards registered double-digit scoring nights. Leading in scoring was senior Caleb Wigginton with 21 points while adding 6 rebounds. Sophomore Quentin Goodin tallied 15 points and 5 assists while freshman David Sloan totalled 14 points and 8 assists. Freshman Ezra Oliver ended with a double-double, scoring 12 points and gathering 12 rebounds. Senior Brady Turpin knocked down 3 of his 5 three-point attempts, finishing with 11 points while junior Austin Webster chipped in 8 points and 5 rebounds. Senior Weston Sullivan and sophomore Devin Rafferty rounded out the scoring with a combined 10 points. With the region victory, the Cards move to 14-4 on the season and with face the Marion County Knights Friday night.
