College football players are( VERY) "NFL ready" by the time they leave college the expert claims more so than other athletes There is no real pressing imperative for minor league football to be a (finishing school.)
Or is there a need ? here are a few very good reasons this type of league should exist .
1. Year after year those so called pro ready players fail to produce up to the hype the so called experts claim they should .
2. The professional leagues draft is not based upon any sceince so their is a lot of guess work to what fans see, teams place players on its practice roster only to discover no amount of practice improves the players skills.
3. If every player on the active roster were that good then why is it that when the frontline player goes down with injury the first statement released is the team has to find a replacement, shouldn't this player already be on the roster?
4. There are cases when the question can be asked why is that player starting when last season he didn't produce and well over paid yet his backup isn't better.
5. Think of this when teams at the bottom get an easier schedule the next season they improve slightly but still can't win enough games to win the championship and usually the following season fall back into the bottom pack after a tougher schedule.
And then their is always this excuse- (But the fact is they had three of their defensive starters out of the game and one offensive linemen hurt early)
6. These are all things football people already know.
What this league is attempting to do is give younger players the opportunity to develop enough to potentially receive the opportunity players like Eric Swan and a few others have had and shown the talent is more wide spread than the professional league has scouts to find and some of those players won't be found in college those are just the facts, players can't offer their services to the highest professional league until a certain age and other restrictions .
The point here is if tech companies can find talented people outside of the system then why can't a simple game do the same.
This league the RDFL is operating outside the box the plans are to measure its success at the year 2020 a four year marker we are not attempting to become in anyway a major league this is 21u a minor junior level tier 1 development football organization.
