The New York City council are considering passing a bill that will make it madatory for the cities youth football programs to have a concussion doctor on the sidelines during games, local organizations have already started to complain stating that the cost for such action would cause many to close their programs as operating cost would be higher and passing that cost on to parents would be too much.
This is the future of youth organized sports if the measure passes look for other youth sports to move into this direction as well ,and other cities or sates to make the measure mandatory ,in Texas the coaches at the junior high and high school level's have to get training so that at least one coach on the sideline during games understand what to look for and give a general test for suspected concussion's during game time, The Stars have a program in place and one coach has been through the training .
