| UNIVERSAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE SUMMER BOWL I BUCCANEERS 29 GATORS 15 . todays game florida buccaneers of the universal football league vs the florida south gators of the united federation football league was a very well played game with the bucs taking the victory QB tom green got the scoring started with a 5 yard plunge into the end zone after that rb keith had several nice runs and on a 15 yard run that started up the middle and taken to the outside on a wonderful spin move he would score his first td of the day back up qb Luis Clemente-Santiago would come in for qb tom green and run a beautifuil 10 yard run for a td and wr keith hill would finish the scoring for the offense when he hauled in a halfback pass from rb keith the defense played a great game scoring on two safeties and a fumble caused by mlb linebacker tom green green blitzing from the outside and laying a solid hit on the gators rb caused a fumble that dt keith picked up for a touchdown green would also tackle the gators rb in the endzone befor the game ended for a safety Tyhie Forsurehands recovered a fumble and returned it thirty yards befor being forced off the field Melvin Turner played a great game going both ways on ol / dl and protecting QB Tom green Clyde Reece had a good game befor leaving Jarvis james had several big runs the gators scored on two big runs had a conversion and a safety to score 15 points it was a good game between two up and comming teams but on a day filled with rain the bucs would take the trophy in the first summer bowl for the the universal football league . |
