A long-time contributor to the Elmwood Giants, Mike's on-going commitment to baseball at every level has brought him this recognition at the national level.

He is currently most visibly active as the Head Coach of the brand new University of Winnipeg Wesmen baseball team and their program. He recently led the team in their fall workouts at Giants Field where they successfully completed a mini "World Series" that achieved its goals of allowing Mike to coach the players, assess their abilities and build a team identity; all before they play a competitive inning!
