The Panthers, now 20-0, had four players in double-digit scoring. This 20-game win streak is the longest since 2008-09 when head coach Nancy Walling's Panthers compiled a 20-game win streak down the stretch en route to the UIL State Tournament semifinals. A loss to the Brittany Griner-led Aldine Nimitz in the 2009 5A State semifinals stopped that impressive win streak.

Westlake drops to 15-6.

The Panthers stand No. 3 in the Class 5A state rankings conducted by TABC/Tex Preps Basketball Magazine were ranked No. 2 last week in the Texas Girls Coaches Association 5A poll.

In addition to her game-high 18 points, Ross had six steals, also a game best. Taylor finished with eight rebounds and three steals in another all-round strong game.

Pflugerville has one game remaining before breaking for the Christmas holiday. On Monday, Dec. 16, the Panthers will host District 16-5A opponent Round Rock in a 6 p.m. contest at PHS's Panther Gym. Pflugerville stands 2-0 in district action to date.
