In other news the teams "Black & White" game turned into nothing more than a highly attended practice as many of the Cardinals roster fell victim to illness or other problems unrelated to the field. "We had a couple players who were sick & unable to make it, some other players who were unable to get out of work, & another who had a death in the family." said Head Coach Chris Pickney. The First Coast Cardinals would like to send their condolences to him our prayers our with him & his family. We would also like to thank all our fans, supporters, & haters (we love you too:) who came out and showed their Cardinal pride Saturday we hope you will stand strong with the RED & BLACK as we start on our road to the integrity bowl & be the second minor league football franchise in existence to bring a Championship back to a city that is more than deserving.
