Greg Penner struck out 12 on his way to a perfect game in the WSBL!

On Tuesday evening, June 12, he faced just 21 batters, striking out 12 and giving up no walks. We congratulate Greg on this memorable achievement. Well done!

Defensively, he had some spectacular help from Marc DeSpiegelaere who made a diving catch in centre field in the sixth inning for a notable contribution to the final result.

The Mudcats also put up some big numbers at the plate in the 20 to nothing win. Overall, they recorded 21 hits. The 8-run 3rd inning was a decisive factor in the final result.
