The Graysville Cardinals team consisted of  Jayden, Riley, Tyler Colby and Hunter from Carman, Aiden Harder from Winkler and Chase, Will, Tyson, Austin, Riley J and Wyatt from Manitou.  Mel and Dave from Manitou and Glennis coached the boys for the tournament.  The boys played 3 great games in the heat.  The boys looked pretty sharp in their new red and white “Cardinals” jerseys for Canada Day.

 Played Rocklake 1 in our first game and lost 13 to 7 after 4 and ˝ innings.  Chase, Austin and Riley Goertzen pitched.  Rocklake 1 used six pitchers during the game.  Bret McDonald hit one triple and one home run to score six runs for  Rocklake 1.

 Second game was against Killarney was a 13 to 2 victory after 3 innings for the Cardinals with Jayden pitching the majority of the game. Tyler Park came in and closed the game with the final out.

 In the third game the boys came up against a strong pitcher from Brandon throwing in the high 40’s across the plate.  Jayden and Hunter were the only boys that got on the bases during the game. The final score was 10 – 0 for Brandon after five innings.  Tyler started off on the mound and followed by Tyson.  Riley Goertzen came in to finish off the game.  The score was 3 – 0 after the second inning and Brandon got a home run in the third inning to go ahead 8 -0.
