Aaron Friesen allowed only four hits in the 1 - 0 win!

In game 1 of the WSBL "A Pool" quarter-final series, Friesen provided a masterful pitching performance and the Mudcats jumped out to an early series lead against the Stonewall Blue Jays. Friesen scattered four hits over seven innings of work giving up no runs and walking only one batter.

The squad scored their only run off Stonewall starter Kyle Heroux in the 5th inning courtesy of a double from Angus Klassen. Both Klassen and Brett Schreyer had multiple hit games for the team. Wes Pomarensky and Chris Leclerc chipped in with singles of their own.
