After another tight win of 2 - 1, the team awaits their opponent for the WSBL "A Pool" Semi-finals

The team was backed by another gem from starter Greg Penner. Greg threw a 7-inning complete game giving up one unearned run while fanning 5 Stonewall Blue Jays.

The offense started in the 5th inning with a lead-off single by Brett Schreyer (one of his three hits on the day!). Roger Turenne then did a great job sacrificing him to second base. Ryan Kuldys then stepped up to the plate and ripped an RBI single to center field scoring Schreyer easily from second base. In the sixth inning it was an RBI single by Schreyer that ended up being the deciding factor in the game.

The Mudcats await the completion of the St.Boniface / Teulon series to see who their opponents will be in the semi-finals. Possible opponents are the Elmwood Giants or the St.James A's.
