On Wednesday evening, the team came away with a 6 - 2 win against their WSBL Championship final opponents, the St. Boniface Legionnaires.

Greg Penner threw a complete game scattering 5 hits. Although he struggled with his control, Penner battled his way through a tough St.Boniface lineup. He was helped by great defense that included two key double plays.

On offense, Marc De Spiegelaere went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI's. Chris Leclerc had a double and a single with 1 RBI while Wes Pomarensky also had two singles on the night, driving in a run.

Both St.Boniface runs came off a double by Chris Norquay in the fifth inning.
