The Kildonan Mudcats would like to express their sincere condolences to the Family and teammates of Jason "Krusty" Krestanowich.

Krusty was always a respectful opponent of the Mudcats. He actually wore the Mudcats colors for a Provincial Championship in 2009 as a guest coach.

If you've been around senior baseball in Manitoba over the past 20 years, you surely have met this gentle giant. Krusty was a hard-nosed competitor that played and managed the game the way it was meant to be played. He had a great deal of respect for the game we all love.

The Mudcats and the entire Elmwood Giants Baseball Club raise their beers in honour of a great ballplayer and, even more, a great guy. Rest in peace buddy.
