As a part of the overall process of bringing the 2017 Canada Summer Games to Winnipeg, the EPC has approved $3M in funding for upgrades to local recreation facilities.

This would be the City's contribution to a total of $9M to be made available to ensure all facilities are ready for the event.

The Club expects Baseball Manitoba to represent the interests of our sport in ensuring the fields chosen for the Games would be suitably prepared. We also expect that Giants Field would be one of the sites involved.
