Welcome to our September, 2013 Rookie Rugby campers!  We've started learning rugby at Plymouth Creek Playfields, every Monday from 5:00 to 6:00 pm through October 21.  If you are ages 5-7 and want to join the fun, contact Plymouth Park & Rec our send me an email at the icon on the left.

Here are the "homework" questions and answers for the first week:  We call a score in rugby a "try," (not a touchdown) and when we score a try our team is awarded five points.  By the way, we score a try by physically touching the ball down to the ground in the goal area.  American football borrowed the phrase from rugby and the name has stuck, long after football players were no longer required to "touch the ball down."
