The trip was a success.Games against #1 rated Bishop Gorman and then against #2 ranked Newbury Park got the Chiefs into the mix real fast.Although dropping both games 11-7 and 4-3 , the Chiefs were playing very good baseball.A win vs Bishop Monogue from Reno and then a loss to Oaks Christian from California.The game was high lighted with a photo of the Chiefs with the Great One.His son played for Oaks Christian.(pictured above)The 5th and last game was a hitting display with the Chiefs beating Irvine Ca. 16-7. |
