The WSBL champion has been crowned and the Cats have finished atop once again. The boys fought hard in a series against St.James to take four straight games after losing the opener.
Some highlights were Angus Klassen winning two games giving up only 1 run in 14 innings pitched. Jeremy Sourkes finished off the series throwing a gem giving up no earned runs to a St.James team who was red hot. Sourkes also got the save in game 3 just two days before.
Two Mudcats are proud to share that after many years in the league (we won't count em!) Jeremy Anderson and Jeremy Sourkes were able to hoist that trophy high above their heads. Both players played big roles down the stretch.
Have a great winter everyone, thanks for the support throughout the summer. Players are selling cash calendars as this is our #1 fundraiser for the club.
