Cap City Ballerz Girls Basketball 13U Team Ties for 11^th place at the AAU Division 2 Nationals in Cocoa Beach, Florida. This newly developed Amateur Athletic Union basketball organization is based in Richmond, Virginia and was established in 2007. With just two seasons into its existence they have reached a major milestone. Cap City Ballerz faced tough competition in pool play and managed to finish 2^nd in their pool. As they moved to the Championship Bracket they faced even tougher competition. Their performance has made Cap City Ballerz a force to be reckoned with in the world of AAU basketball.

Congratulations to these young ladies for their fine performance and representation of the Commonwealth of Virginia. They represented all in a positive manner and were the talk of the National tournament! Everyone was impressed with the level of talent, commitment and heart displayed by our girls. They earned a lot of respect this week! Great job CCB!
