The Abbotsford Angels continued their winning ways this past weekend with wins over Richmond and Cowichan Valley in a double-header at Townline Park on Saturday. In the first game, Jordan pitched a beauty, allowing only 3 runs in 6 innings pitched while the offence was led by a Jonah tripled to the right field fence. The Angels flexed their muscles particularly in the bottom of the 6th as they scored 5 runs! The end result was a 13-3 victory in 6 innings. In game two, against Cowichan Valley, the Angels used their luxury of having depth at pitching and used Keaton, Corey, Jonah and Chase. This quartet of talented pitchers, combined with Jeremyi's 2 doubles sparked the Angels to an 11-3 victory.
Next game, Wednesday at 6:30 vs Tri Cities at Bird Field in Port Coquitlam.
